“Like a giant jigsaw puzzle” 

The Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, an iconic monument and jewel of the city's historic heart, is undergoing renovations deemed essential to its preservation. Launched in 2019, the project will take at least a decade to complete. Already, the walkway connecting the two bell towers and the exterior of the West tower have been restored to their original condition. The ongoing project aims to apply the same for the twin tower, which La Presse explored with the construction design team.
