“Your presence, your generosity, and your interest deeply moved us. Thanks to you, it was much more than an event: it was a moment of communion around a heritage that unites us,” stated Michel Issa, Chief Executive Officer of La Fabrique de la paroisse Notre-Dame de Montréal.
As the 200th anniversary of the Notre-Dame Basilica approaches, the Foundation is intensifying its efforts to fund the restoration work which is essential to preserving this architectural masterpiece. These projects, already underway, will span several years.
The evening began with a refined cocktail where guests enjoyed creations from L’Échoppe des Fromages, followed by an inspiring concert within the Basilica. The gastronomic dinner, prepared by renowned restaurant Hoogan et Beaufort, offered an exceptional culinary experience worthy of this prestigious event.
This fundraising dinner was also an opportunity to launch the “Sponsor a Stone” program, an innovative initiative that allows donors to become guardians of heritage. Thanks to augmented reality, each name or message will appear on the virtual facade of the Basilica.
Another highlight of the evening was the unveiling of La Fabrique’s digital media platform, hosted on Omerlo and developed in collaboration with DRAKKAR Digital. This Quebec-based solution marks a turning point in the institution’s digital transformation. The platform offers intuitive navigation, enriched content, and multimedia formats adapted to today’s uses.
The Foundation also unveiled its new logo, symbol of a modernized image which combines tradition and innovation, all while affirming its mission: preserving, enhancing and promoting this living heritage.
The Foundation warmly thanks all participants and partners for their support, and looks forward to November 2026 for the next edition of the gala.
